The IAMCR PoliComm Research Section Conference in Mexico, inaugurated by IAMCR President Daya Thussu. The event was praised for its exceptional lineup of speakers, including Daniel C. Hallin, Silvio Waisbord, Natalia Aruguete, and many others, and for fostering deep, high-quality dialogue.

From May 20 to 22, the IAMCR Political Communication Research Section successfully held its first Latin American Conference in Puebla, Mexico.
The conference featured on-site, hybrid, and online sessions with over 90 presentations from participants representing 14 countries.
