I took a bird water color painting class this weekend. It was fun and relaxing and way out of my wheelhouse. 10 of 10, would recommend.

A Wilson's Snipe. It is walking through greenish water from the right to the left. Its left leg is planted and its right leg is bent so the foot is visible at the surface of the water.
I've been visiting a newly opened wetlands restoration area pretty frequently. Most days it's the same cast of characters, but once in a while you get a surprise guest. Today it was a Wilson's Snipe feeding along the shore. #birds #wetlands
