I measured them fully closed from the top to roughly the Center of one headphone. About 15cm

Recently got 'Sony WH-CH520' and really like them.

Their cheap and do a good job for me. They are on ear tho, I'm confident they work width wise for many heads as they are tight to begin with and over time with wear
loosen up to the width of your head.

Height wise could be a problem maybe.
