Then make it clear and make it a mandate, at least inside of NHS facilities. That way those of us who are immune compromised/suppressed won't constantly face pushback from our health care workers that they "don't have to" because the government doesn't say they have to.

Merely paying the extra for a luxury car does cost the taxpayer more unlike the author claims. Once in the motability system higher costs for servicing a large vehicle, bigger tyres to replace when worn etc.etc. are all funded by the scheme or so I'm told by someone who regularly takes his on holiday on the continent, where of course he drives for hundreds of miles.

“I know a disabled person who takes their Motability car on holiday” is an absolute zinger of a comeback.

Famously, disabled people only go to the supermarket and hospital. I’d personally put a ban on mainland Europe.
