I hate this film (and what its success likely represents) so much I fear I may die of it.

"House the cat!
House the cat!
House the cat!"
Who could refuse such a reasonable demand?
Yes, it is. And the replies to this are full of people both denying antisemitism and blaming Jews for it.
Because antisemitism exists only as an accusation against ones political opponents.
Missing from this list is the stunning 1997 Takarazuka Revue Snow Troupe production of Wuthering Heights featuring Yoka Wao, Wataru Kozuki, and Kei Aran in star-making performances.
Together they admirably fill Bow Hall with sheer presence and draw you into an intimate rendering of the tale.
Meta Threads: A Twitter-like inexplicably infested with short-form videos and posts longing for contact that describe you as their ideal, yet they turn away from your replies as though they hadn't heard. Your displays of undue exuberance most absurd.
Burdened with delusions of dignity? Try Threads!
All things Meta, though. Their nature and popularity make me feel like I am fundamentally incompatible in how I go about being a human.
20.02.2026 07:59 — 👍 3 🔁 1 💬 3 📌 0I know I am too out of touch for the conversion because I am stalled out at not understanding why things like youtube and whatsapp are even listed as social media.
My objections to and displeasure with Discord are at least FOSS-adjacent, which is a familiar alienation.
I tried looking up the top platforms, but I am struggling with this and will instead just roll into the woods to become dust and ash:
"Messenger applications like WhatsApp, Messenger, and Telegram have also quickly climbed this list over the past few years after adding short-form video features."
I quite like the feeds ... but never as the default view. I literally follow people because I want to see their posts. Let me see their damn posts.

It actually helps because I have a raucous good time with when watching with friends but when alone I can just sit there in silence.
But watching with you maniacs on here pulls me out of that.
You do get a bit wild, but it is fun and enhances the cathartic elements of the shows.
HOWEVER
You have brought me along to be a 24/7 hotdog man hater.

I heard you guys like rice dishes that come out subpar because you were prepping other food and washing dishes while cooking so you skipped a step.
Still pretty good, though. #VeganFood

tree planted for Ilan Halimi, cut down
I am still emotional over the crass symbolism of the tree planted in memory of Ilan Halimi, tortured and murdered for the crime of carrying Jewish blood, being cut down because even in death we can't be allowed peace.

Maybe that even was the plan before more recent revelation and outcry.
I came in at 39 because I was distracted and only remembered the final colour as "a blue, probably", which was enough to tank my score so I have come to turn my back on glory and claim credit for making you feel better.

In France, the day is 7 July. And I am still trying to be optimistic about the US.
This is very weird because at the time who knew what was going on, especially if it was children trying to talk themselves into liking it.
But now? We know exactly what happened, it was slapped together and shoved out to avoid too big of a delay between Batman 2 and Batman 3. Of course it was bad.
I felt it coming and yelled "don't you dare, don't do it" and he did it anyway!

I saw Birds of Prey in IMAX and loved it despite thinking it wasn't very good.
