Here are some highlights of what you’re in for in Episode 1 of @podsthething.bsky.social, including part of a heated debate (or de-bait, if you will), the challenges of doing Shakespeare on microphone, and that eternal question: what am I saying?

As long as you're not having to look up kakos?

Hoping to announce our next project before AdventureX, assuming Valve approves our Steam page in time.

The Museum of Anything Goes: Blurring the Line Between Art and Game and CD-ROM dreams
YouTube video by The Genesis Temple The Museum of Anything Goes: Blurring the Line Between Art and Game and CD-ROM dreams

ICYMI, I was able to finish a video that I was close to deleting because for two months, I was depressed and had writer's block. I guess sometimes publishing a video is its own reward.
Come visit The Museum of Anything Goes, a capsule of the internet... before the internet??

IIRC, they *were* developing it but the project went quiet and so they did Dispatch instead. I might be wrong about this though!

Finished Dispatch. One of my surprise favourite games of the year, even if the final episode was a little bit cut-scene heavy.

Also awful: forcing people to watch performances that treat every word as if they're holy writ instead of entertainment.

Which is how you know it's a fantasy, of course.

Too complex for me. Could you rework it in the form of a Homer Simpson quote?

The scene outside the Watch House during the riots is one of my favourite scenes in the whole series - just a perfect encapsulation of Pratchett heroes holding the line for the right reasons while being extremely aware of the real world complexities of doing that.

I think Night Watch is probably the best of them, but I have a real soft spot for Going Postal and The Fifth Elephant.

ToMI is really underrated, especially for turning LeChuck into a proper villain again…

My favourite pro-Linux argument back in the day was "If anything goes wrong, your OS is fine, only your user folder can get nuked!" You mean, uh, the bit containing the stuff I care about?

I like the idea of it, and I've tried it a few times over the years, but too much of my stuff requires Windows or Mac. Not least testing games for an audience primarily on Windows.

I kinda love how for just about everyone, Dark Souls moves from 'impossible challenge' to 'comfort game' after beating it once.

Not really, I tend to watch gaming content to see the reactions of people I find entertaining.
