I feel as if I'm cosplaying Trinity from The Matrix today at work. Trying out 0mg of Zoloft and hit with light sensitivity and the brain zaps so I'm rocking some borrowed sunnies and a coat because they have AC on I guess.

A tragedy is that the "trans tipping point" of the 2010s mislead a lot of us to believe we could be out as ourselves and, if we worked hard and softened our edges, participate in society.

That illusion has been thoroughly shattered.

I was a little skeptical back in 2013 when we collectively decided to switch to all of us having one big poop at the same time, one day a year. But now I find it nice to get it out of the way and not have to worry about it.

I hope everyone has a nice Super Bowel movement today. I have really been looking forward to this years poop.

My therapist seemed to suggest that some people don't think all the time. I don't understand how this works. Did she just mean thinking deeply? Or like...what are their brains doing that mine cannot! I want to not think...

I am going to a work event tomorrow where the pledge of allegiance is on the agenda. How do I not do this?

But I think, ultimately, it's not worth it. Someone can advocate for you over and over, but when their drug dealer turns out to be your rapist, they're suddenly as spineless as everyone else.

As I have been recovering from 7+ years of burn out, here's some advice:

Achievement isn't a reflection of your worth. Being able to perform at work and collapsing in private isn't normal. Sometimes the problem isn't you, it's your environment, but it's your job to change it.

Our body and minds literally go into survival mode, repeating the shitty cycles.
