Johnson misstates a fact , which is that they called for them not to follow ILLEGAL orders, and now Trump is calling for death of those congressional members.

This is a great point, and I don’t know why it hasn’t happened. They could invite actual journalists instead of just right-wing podcasters like the Trump White House does It could help focus the news and the public on topics other than those mentioned by Trump.

Trump is truly amoral and lacks any humanity. Any pleasure he might experience comes from money that he takes from others, power that he can feel by making others suffer, and sexual gratification that he gets from forcing himself on others.

Schumer’s actions make me seriously question his motives. He is not acting in the best interest of the citizens he is supposed to represent. Why not?

Perhaps the senators caved when they personally felt the impact when trying to fly, or maybe it was the impact on their high income donors. Maybe a general strike would force them to recognize they have to represent everyone, including those who don’t fly but struggle to pay for healthcare and food.

Was she one of the ones standing behind Speaker Johnson, nodding in agreement, at all his recent conferences? What she is saying doesn’t connect with whats happened over the past 10 years and brought to a head over the past 2 months. Has she been snowed in in New Hampshire this entire time?

If the political leaders won’t stand up for us as citizens, we need to stand up for ourselves. No one will negotiate with us or for us unless we demonstrate our own power like that expressed by a general strike.
