I’d obviously still want someone like Pritzker to win and be terrified of them losing, but I think I’d be able to deal with the ups and downs of the day to day news cycle with more detachment.

I suspect a potential AOC presidential run would be like going to see a friend’s improv show for me: I’d be so emotionally invested in her doing well that I’d want to hide behind a couch.

It's a digital version of literally just dividing your cash into envelopes dedicated to specific expenses, "electricity bill" "food" "rent" etc so that you know for a fact you are not such as dipping into your bill money by spending your food money. You'd have to actively choose to do so.

I use YNAB, it's great, definitely been worth it. Tons of tutorials on using it, too.

I have heard good things about that one. I’ll check it out.

Honestly, I need to start using something to track expenses and do some budgeting, but their ads focusing almost exclusively on such cancellations dissuaded me from considering that app.
