Calling the claim of genocide a “blood libel” dilutes the meaning of one of the most dangerous antisemitic tropes in history.

Weaponizing this term makes it harder to identify when actual blood libel is directed at Jews and weakens the very language we need to protect ourselves.

Credit to her for continuing to speak out. CBS should answer for this.

Senior CAIR official invokes blood libel in front of Ohio Senate The ADL condemned the comments from the executive director of CAIR’s Ohio chapter as ‘hateful, utterly false’ rhetoric

This is unacceptable and evokes an ancient trope that has been used to stir up hatred against Jews generation after generation.
It is deeply irresponsible and harmful to make such vicious accusations without a shred of evidence. CAIR should condemn these comments.

We’re stuck in a dangerous feedback loop: Antisemitism is a conspiracy theory that undermines democracy. And as democratic norms erode, they create the conditions for antisemitism to flourish.

It's almost as if they aren't actually interested in fighting antisemitism, but rather in using Jews as a convenient cover to attack higher education, immigrants, and Muslims.

The Nexus Project's @sikevin99.bsky.social testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights' briefing on Thursday about antisemitism on college campuses and the need to restore OCR to keep Jewish students safe.

The Office for Civil Rights (aka OCR) within the Department of Education has been essential in addressing discrimination faced by Jewish students and other marginalized groups.

Despite this, the Trump administration effectively gutted the entire agency.

The very real antisemitism faced by Jews around the world is not a tool for scoring political points.

If AG Bondi cares so much about antisemitism that she would bring it up in a House Judiciary Committee hearing, we suggest she spend more time calling out the white nationalists and white supremacists within her own administration rather than accosting a sitting Jewish congresswoman.

It’s both possible and essential to call out abuse without spreading conspiracy theories or using antisemitic tropes around Jews and power.

We need to be able to talk about the Epstein files and those implicated without resorting to antisemitic tropes and conspiracies. The conversation around abuse, greed, and corruption is vital. And we need to be intentional with the language we use or we risk falling into antisemitic traps.

Every time someone's Jewishness gets attached to a story about child trafficking, it builds the frame that turns a criminal conspiracy into a Jewish conspiracy.

This is how it spreads.

This is our fight as Jewish Americans, too. The work of combating antisemitism and protecting democracy are one in the same. Jewish safety requires a healthy democracy, including a government that doesn’t wage war against its own people.

Hundreds of rabbis, cantors, and Jewish leaders are gathered outside of ICE HQs in Washington, DC today at the largest protest against ICE by Jewish clergy and leaders, organized by our friends @bendthearc.bsky.social and @truahrabbis.bsky.social.

Olney Synagogue Vandalized With Anti-Zionist Rhetoric On his way to school Tuesday morning, Sen. Craig Zucker’s son saw through the bus window that Shaare Tefila Congregation’s signs had been vandalized.

This isn't about Zionism or anti-Zionism. This is about antisemitism. There is no excuse for a swastika on a synagogue. That's antisemitic, plain and simple.

We should call out antisemitism wherever it manifests, and especially from someone who spreads it as recklessly as Candace Owens.
