The Nexus Project's @sikevin99.bsky.social testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights' briefing on Thursday about antisemitism on college campuses and the need to restore OCR to keep Jewish students safe.

The Office for Civil Rights (aka OCR) within the Department of Education has been essential in addressing discrimination faced by Jewish students and other marginalized groups.

Despite this, the Trump administration effectively gutted the entire agency.

The very real antisemitism faced by Jews around the world is not a tool for scoring political points.

If AG Bondi cares so much about antisemitism that she would bring it up in a House Judiciary Committee hearing, we suggest she spend more time calling out the white nationalists and white supremacists within her own administration rather than accosting a sitting Jewish congresswoman.

This is a clear-cut and frankly disgusting weaponization of antisemitism from AG Bondi.

It’s both possible and essential to call out abuse without spreading conspiracy theories or using antisemitic tropes around Jews and power.

We need to be able to talk about the Epstein files and those implicated without resorting to antisemitic tropes and conspiracies. The conversation around abuse, greed, and corruption is vital. And we need to be intentional with the language we use or we risk falling into antisemitic traps.

Every time someone's Jewishness gets attached to a story about child trafficking, it builds the frame that turns a criminal conspiracy into a Jewish conspiracy.

His case shows how far-right antisemitic frameworks can reach well beyond the far right.

Guy Christensen, a pro-Palestinian influencer with over 3 million followers, built his audience as a left-wing activist.

Now he's posting about "Jewish supremacy" in the Epstein files and sharing content from over antisemites like @/AdameMedia.

Since the release, he has written about "the emerging Jewish Empire" and other antisemitic tropes.

He provides the intellectual scaffolding: framing Epstein's emails as evidence, giving academic veneer to what white nationalists say plainly.
