Been reading recently released horror. You know to get a feel for the landscape. Gotta do it once in a while if not continuously.

Weirdly the last two books not much of real consequence has happened in either. Is that where we're at? Not much happening? Gonna have to read a few more books.

Lol *dead call. A dear call is a series of letters written in the style of American civil war letters, to their love Martha at the publisher.

Good news: New flash story written.

Bad news: the call I wrote it for came nowhere near their Kickstarter goal, so dear call.

Little out of order from my previous post but, my first Stokercon was amazing. Met a lot of my amazing peers, heard a lot of amazing reading, watched amazing short films, and had my mind blown by several panels in a class.

Printed Remnants out today. See, back in college I had a 110k book about vampire hunting. It got lost somehow, as this was the early oughts of the millennium and tech was still wonky.

I learned a painful lesson. Always have backups. Now I have a paper copy I can scan if needed.

Oooooh good question. A lot of things are different, but the biggest is I went from 2 pov characters to three, and that third one is a lot more aware and powerful than she was before. Both to the benefit, and chagrin, of everyone.

Third revision is done.

First one was about 5-6 years ago.

Second was last year.

I'm getting faster. Better. Stronger. Lankier. My teeth shine and are long. My claws click-clack and leave gouges.

Fear me book world.
