As a kid I grew up in the west thinking Dubliners were pretty cool. I loved visiting as they had double-decker buses and a zoo.

By my 20's I had seen a little of the world and I started to feel a bit sorry for them as I realised that the true heart of Ireland had very little to do with Dublin.

Says the constituency shy MP who spends a lot of his time working from America.

Honestly Nigel, think up your own policies.

There's a 'pop stars managing football clubs' thread here.

Ric Ocasek as the Aston Villa manager perhaps?

Anyone can be a politician, there are no qualifications required. A bus driver (full respect to these folks btw) requires more qualifications than the US president. Therein lies part of the problem. The absolute wing-nuts see politics as a career.

I wonder how much money the Trump family have made since he himself became President for the second term?

Talk about blind.

Nigel 'close friend of Donald Trump' lecturing others on questionable politicians.

Hold a door open for someone without being asked. And just smile.

You'll make somebodys day.

5th richest but the UK is only 16th in the table of personal income tax rates for Europe. That's 45% vs Denmark (in 1st place) with a highest tax rate of 55.9%. The UK doesn't tax the rich and perhaps it should.

It doesn't stop Labour getting rid of Starmer. It just stops Burnham replacing him. For now anyway.

They're siding with Russia. This is the same Russia they're concerned with attack Greenland......

I'd actually forgotten about JCS. But he's injury stricken it's hard to rely on him.

I read an article today that suggests Field might be off (especially if Leonard arrives).

Whilst the arrival of Edwards has changed the pecking order, I'm still a little surprised by this. What if we have injuries or suspensions to deal with?

Am I right in thinking we have 3 senior CB's now? Edwards, Dunne & Cook.
