Live a sustainable lifestyle while removing your support for the capitalist oligarchy: buying something new should be the last resort. Instead: make do without, mend & repair, buy second hand, etc. As consumers we have the power in this consumption driven economy.

I tell people to be more responsible for their own wants and needs. You probably wouldn't be surprised how fast they drop the wants for needs when it's one or the other.
