A lot of people falsely think that undocumented immigrants here long enough can just "applied for a green card/citizenship."

That's not how the system works. For most of the undocumented population, there IS no line, nor any way to "fix their papers." It's why so many have been here for decades.

Also this: “Hear me when I say this: There can be no purity tests in the pro-democracy opposition. You are either against Trump, or not. If you are against Trump then the anti-Trump movement must operate in solidarity.” We cannot let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

I hope this point catches on: “These lists should never be used for ginning up donations. They should be used to direct people into actions. Getting them registered to vote. Getting them to turn out for elections. Getting them to show up at the next rally; to organize their friends.”

My brain literally cannot comprehend all of the bad stuff that just happened today so instead: scholastic book fair now has online wallets that you can use for your kiddos at the book fair- but also, you can donate to “share the fair” so others w/o can get books.
