What's depressing here is that the domestic automakers are now paying HIGHER tariffs in inputs than a Honda customer buying a Civic. Trump has put US automakers at a serious disadvantage.

Night Shift was the first King I read, too; fell in love instantly (IIRC The Mangler was the 2nd story). He's (still) an excellent short story writer

I gotta say, Squid Game 3 turned out to be a really great way to wrap up that story…

In my darker moments I have trouble seeing a way out of this that doesn't involve everything getting MUCH worse. I don't think the leopards have eaten anywhere near enough faces yet and a lot more people are going to be hurt.
