Dr. Carla Hayden, the 14th Librarian of Congress, was fired by Pres. Trump today according to a press statement from @morelle.house.gov. Only the Legislative Branch should make decisions about the hiring & removal of the Librarian of CONGRESS. This needs to be fixed asap.

I would hope that when Gov Walz and comparable senior Dems hold town halls in incumbent Republican districts, they’re introducing dynamic progressive young Democrats from those districts who are potential candidates to replace the no-show incumbents in 2026.

I feel like Don Heck suffered from being the guy that editors knew they could count on to deliver when the book was way behind, and that run of Avengers is a good example. When he had time to work on a project (e.g. the mid-70s Steel series at DC), he looked a lot better.
