Last night, I got home a few mins before 9pm. By the time I was outside to walk the dog at 9:05, there were a dozen federal agents and local cops on the stairs and lawn of the house directly across the street from me.

about two years ago, visiting MD/DC/DE to see if we wanted to live anywhere around there. (Obvs the answer turned out to be no, but it was a fun trip.) We thought Philly would be the most convenient airport for us and it was except for the soda deficit.

On the other hand, the Philadelphia airport has no Dr Pepper anywhere onsite and WTF, Philly, how can you do this to us.

New Orleans (MSY) has such a bizarrely inconvenient car rental location (it makes no SENSE, you travel almost in a loop) that you wonder if it's even worth renting a car. Pro tip: unless you need to drive to suburbs etc., it's not. Also, the redesigned airport layout (outside and in) is dreadful.

we went to a fancy 23rd street clothes boutique (Spero Park) on Saturday so my wife could try on dresses and skirts and I was delighted to see some labels from the old-school Modcloth days, like Emily & Fin (now discontinued, they said!) ... made me miss old Modcloth. It does feel like chaos now.
