With 22 million acres reserved for public use, these cuts will lead to more wildfires, more public land misuse, and fewer opportunities for residents to enjoy Colorado’s natural beauty.

Seattle is a majority renter city, and as the only renter on Council, I know how harmful these practices are. On our last day together, we confronted some of the hard realities of what it means to govern as a progressive. How we wield power on an unequal playing field to lift up marginalized communities.
Our conversations were difficult, but the learning in community was critical.

As the Trump Administration continues to deliberately harm our communities, it is more important than ever to organize together so that we can use our governing power to uplift and protect all our communities.

This past weekend, we held our ⚡️ 2025 LP National Convening ⚡️ in Chicago! We hosted 500+ local leaders and partners for an incredible three days of connection, strategy, and collective learning.
