I spent a very interesting evening listening to David Olusoga talk about the missing chapters of history and how British history has become whitewashed. Very informative talk.

#riotwomen oh God that conversation between Anne Reid & Tamsin Greig’s characters brought a tear to my eye. I have had those conversations with my own mum. Tough conversation but so real to my experience with a dementia parent.

I recently had a cull of my glass jars (I make jam & marmalade most years) & put them on Freecycle. Sadly the only interested party let us down & they ended up in the recycling this week. I know what you mean about feeling bad though.
