What a weekend for Manchester City's women's team. They tonked Manchester United 3-0 in the Manchester derby, and then both Chelsea and Arsenal had draws on Sunday, meaning a very healthy league table so far. Got to keep going, but promising at least!

Time for some Commodore 64 arcade rip-off action via @bloggospow.bsky.social as four games that are a slight resemblance to arcade machines are played. There's a bona fide C64 classic in there, and nods to soundtracks from Chris Hülsbeck and the late Ben Daglish.

At the time, it's easy to be enticed by the superb Rob Hubbard version of the soundtrack in the C64 version. However, only three levels are present in that conversion which meant plenty of the game was missing, only fixed by the later Commando Arcade update in 2015.

Hard to believe it's 40 years this year that this superb Cabaret Voltaire 2 x 12" EP Drinking Gasoline was released. Four superb tracks and glad I picked up the initial CD reissue when that came out (hard to find now) and I have the original vinyl too.

My father had the original 1973 LP (which I have now) so finally hearing this remaster gives me happy memories. And Frozen Love of course was the catalyst for the two of them joining Fleetwood Mac, so important historically too
