Oh yes the inter silver! I might have to dig out a copy and try and read it to my 7 year old although not sure if it's one that might seem a bit old fashioned these days

It reminds me of how I used to want to be an ice dancer based only on multiple reads of Noel Streatfeild's White Boots rather than any skill on the ice

I can never get into watching the olympics or indeed any sport but we watched the netflix documentary about ice dancers and are now invested in the ice dancing

Now very attached to the three remaining members of Take That

Watched the Take That documentary on Netflix and learnt that Take That are still a band that exists

the evenings are getting lighter! ☀️

We were the children who queued outside bookstores and cinemas at midnight. We got Harry Potter tattoos, threw Harry Potter themed weddings and named our children after characters from the novels — baby names like Hermione, Luna and Draco. We interpreted our politics through the lens of the wizarding world, comparing those we disagreed with to the books’ main villain, Lord Voldemort, and carrying signs with slogans like “Dumbledore’s Army” and “Hermione wouldn’t stand for this!” at Women’s Marches. And some of us even took deeper moral cues from the books, reading them like a new Bible, treating the works as sacred texts with religious teachings to convey.
