Christmas prep over the weekend:
-green olive focaccia - smoked salmon mousse will go on top
-cardamon orange caramel sauce - for the pear bread pudding dessert
-honey sage simple syrup - for cocktails
-pickled red onions - cheeseboard
-plum jam - cheeseboard
-plum brandy (not pictured)- all day 😏

Feeling truly British writing this but what is up with the weather this winter? In a fortnight we've had rain, snow, sub-zero daytime temps, more rain, wind and now weird cloudy nearly-warm weather. Can ya nae just make up your mind?!

Just take all of my money.

Using an old wire wreath form, moss and greenery foraged from the nearby woods, eucalyptus from a local florist & orange slices I dried the weekend before. All in all, it cost about £10 to make + £8 for new floral snips because my old ones were rusted. Pleased with that ☺️ #crafty #frugal #homemade
