The Wilberforce chapel is still intact though upstairs so not fully accessible. It is still used. Also the very earliest (small) chapel in the original College House is now part of our reception area.

We are delighted to announce that the Reverend Mark Earey has been appointed our new Tutor in Ministry and Mission. He will take up his post in January 2025 coming from The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham, where he has been Director of Anglican Formation and Tutor in Liturgy and Worship since 2007.

Today at our Friends & Former Members day some returned to receive their academic certificates, one of our governors Prof Jenn Strawbridge preached and Dr Stephen Burns spoke about Coconut Theology. Next we hear reminiscences from Ripon Hall students on the merger, 50yrs ago with Cuddesdon College.

Today we say farewell to some of the students from Portsmouth, here for their final weekend.

Our third speaker in this slot is Susannah Peppiatt speaking on “A language understanded of the people: The struggle to create a Welsh Anglicanism”

Our next speaker is Dr Becky Dean on “Can Horses See Visions?’ Perspectives from Renaissance Art” drawing on depictions of Paul’s conversion experience on the road to Damascus which add in horses despite none being mentioned in the narrative.

Yesterday was College Photo day at our main Cuddesdon site for all those students studying there, their families & our staff team.

And today, as part of our Quiet Day during our Cross-Pathways Easter Residential at Ripon College Cuddesdon we shared in a Forest Church Eucharist. I love the breadth of our expressions of worship.
