am seed saving from my herb garden for the first time. i have to say this is one of the best antidotes to the emotional states rendered by late trumpian politics. sunday morning kitchen witch reporting for duty.

we have learned absolutely nothing.

but, i like your point and take comfort in it. i really do see value in what the machine hath wrought with my work.

ah, super interesting. thinking about the ways in which the shifts in how we viewed The Text in mid 20th c. changed how we understood readership now might parallel this shift on how we understand authorship (ethical engagement with AI requiring a kind of ownership over newly created text).

today my therapist told me that it’s ok, in fact, the best we can do these days, to simultaneously hold any joy we have and the sorrow/fury/rage/anxiety we have for the world. in fact, she said, it’s the very best we can do in these times. we start every sesh exchanging how worried we are for folx.
