Only raised the point because I think it *does* affect the psychology of candidates when they’re actually literally worried about it less - opens up opportunities / courage etc.

I agree. But for a while he did a lot less call time! 😂

Certainly, I just hope that there isn’t a sense out there that running for office is categorically a worse option than organizing because of the partial focus on money. I look up to the candidates who can inspire enough to worry about it marginally less.

Respectful caveat that the handful of candidates who are truly inspiring people don’t have to worry as much about money, and that says something about the abundance mindset that is possible when candidates do politics correctly

This has consequences beyond individual cases. A problem judge on a court, even one that employs panels like the courts of appeal, can destroy morale/collegiality, increase distrust, and erode the rule of law in ways not obvious to the public.
