In my day job, I work at a young people's mental health charity. Recently I ran a Hands On Queer History session with staff to help them in their work with queer youth.

Executives just see the amount of money Fortnite makes and their eyes turn into dollar signs. They don't even think about the risks, they just want Fortnite money. And if it doesn't work out? Doesn't matter, they don't have to suffer the consequences anyway.

I really have to wonder why any company even bothers with GAAS if they're unwilling to properly give them time? Stuff like 2XKO, Highguard, Concord etc - regardless of how you feel about them, killing them off or downsizing the teams just 2-3 weeks after a game releases is insane to me.
