This “don’t take the bait” propaganda is largely coming from the same accounts and networks that tried to tell people to sit down at protests earlier this summer directly putting people in danger from police and trampling etc.

This whole “don’t take the bait” narrative being spun up by the resist account networks is pure counter insurgency. If fascists are trying to do violence against you and your community by all means protect yourself in any way you can. Do not comply in advance and “do nothing” in the face of fascism.
