Last night I went to Playfest at Lane and these teens are so talented! We saw five plays written, directed, and acted by students. It’s always a joy to watch Autumn and her friends doing their thing on stage. These young people give me hope. ✌🏼💖🎨

This morning I listened to @govpritzker.illinois.gov speech from the other day in New Hampshire. It filled me with hope to hear that kind of leadership. In the middle he talks about what some people in Illinois are doing and they fill me with hope, too. ✌🏼💖🎨

Today I found hope in starting something new, rearranging the studio so I can work on this wall. The plan is for these six pieces of paper to become one large painting that then becomes 108 small paintings. Will the plans change? Really excited to see how it goes. ✌🏼💖🎨

This morning I got to work with about 40 students at @jrctogether. We looked at our sanctuary in different ways, we made watercolor paintings, and we talked about art as a spiritual practice. They were engaged and thoughtful and creative. They give me hope. ✌🏼💖🎨
