JJ showed a lot of great potential and promise but that was a couple of years ago now and he's not kicked on. Bogarde seems pretty steady and not as particularly injury prone. There's a lot more to be said for Bogardes future at this point.

Reckon he would sell for more than JJ? I don't think villa should accept less.

To be fair, Oscar's first win in F1 was also thanks to McLaren's hand holding. I think there has been a bit too much of McLaren trying to do things "ideally" and it will get them into a competitive knot. But I don't think there's been any real preference or benefit in the grand scheme.

What's tough for Guessand is that he's having to learn and adjust on the pitch in full view rather than being given the benefit of time like most other signings.

Malen hasn't really nailed it down and there's no other option than Guessand for the right at the moment. He's doing well, though.
