Almost 30 years ago, I waited outside the door of a convention center where Walter Payton was speaking with at-risk young men. Crowded out by others, I forlornly went to the other side of the car. He scooted over to the window, flashed his winning smile, and gave me a wave. What a sweetheart!

I turn it on every year just to see Tom Turkey, the Snoopy balloon, the Rockettes, and Santa.

Agreed! Used to be able to see all Warriors games (from Illinois) with cable and League Pass. This year had to add Peacock and Amazon Prime.

I saw them twice last year, also from my driveway in Northern Illinois. My iPhone captures the color much better than the naked eye, although I could very faintly see the pinks and greens.

I think Lindsey Graham brought Ivanka and Jared as his "guests". Who brings uninvited guests to a funeral? As I recall, Meghan McCain was furious.

Not sure which is more annoying - my glitchy League Pass or Desmond Bane.

I noticed last night that the Warriors - Clippers game on Peacock was so much clearer than the games I watch on League Pass.

All the neighborhood kids watched the debut together at the one house on our street with a color TV.
