I think you’ll have fun with it. I made a video about it like 20 years ago…out there on YouTube somewhere. It’s a unique and interesting console/computer hybrid. They made an all-in-one unit with a B&W monitor built in and everything at one point…very hard to find and rare. It has a neat history.

I was on the East Coast just yesterday packing up my entire Odyssey 2 collection to ship back to CA. I must have like 25 games. It’s a fascinating system.

My guess is that it was a North American release only, with Nester being a relatively unknown as a character in Japan. Nintendo isn’t one to give NA special treatment over Japan. Or, could also have something to do with Nester’s association with Howard Phillips.
