Was away from umpiring for over 4 months to tend to my health, but went back at it tonight at a super fun travel ball game.

I’m just a youth ball umpire, but even for umpires at my level, this is still a very proud moment. To see women getting to this level of ball is so great. I’ve been taught and mentored by women in umpiring and they’ve been some of the best teachers. Congrats, Jen Pawol!

It’s already in the hands of UPS. They almost immediately agreed to take it back for warranty repairs. So far so good. Thanks!
