FOG CASTLE FIELD SPELL CARD When 1 monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it to your field, but the Monster Card Zone the monster occupied can no longer be used. When the effect of this card leaves you without any usable Monster Card Zones, send this card and your entire hand to the Graveyard, then add 4 monsters from your Graveyard to your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn this effect is activated.

Every once in a while people talk about overpowered anime cards but I just learned about this insane FTK enabler and never seen anyone mention it before.

DAD wasnt in WCS 2008 :(, I think BDIF in that game is either perfect circle monarch or demise turbo.

The trick with this one is that there's a winstreak bonus, so you save after every duel (World Championship Mode has autosave) and reset the game on the results screen if you end up losing.

Stolen meme but i do quite like mega malamar. Contrary superpower was so fun until it ended up being outclassed by the contrary users introduced in the years following. I hope the mega makes it more usable.

My favorite thing about duel links is that the single strongest character(s?) in the game's history is this pair of jobbers who have a 0% winrate in the show but an absurd suite of overpowered skills that have destroyed the meta countless times.

Makes me think of My Adventures With Superman which only releases like 12 episodes a year, so we're 2 years in and 2 seasons in yet Lex Luthor is still a twink with a full head of hair

The Yu-Gi-Oh Card Ryu-Ran

It is about time for Ryu-Ran to make an appearance.

Seeing a card reveal, thinking "now all we need is a good ____" and then the ____ in question ends up being the worst card ever printed. A tale as old as time.

I think the idea is to let players alternate between mega gardy and regular gardy but luckily this card is terrible.

In Duel Academy for the GBA you can just play Burst Stream without controlling Blue-Eyes, so it's literally just raigeki at 3.

Dunno how much this counts but in the older yugioh games (pre-2008 I think), the CPUs just don't know how this card works. If you play patrician + one low attack monster they'll essentially wipe their own board every turn.

So glad to have an official yugioh shirt that doesnt explicitly namedrop the exact thing it's referencing on the front of it.
