Sometimes a myth harms ppl other than the target. I'm often frustrated by false/exaggerated accusations against Purdue Pharma & the Sackers-- but I emphasize that how myths also harm pain patients & drug users. Exaggerations of the prescription addiction rates make it harder to get prescriptions.
