Itβs a 50/50 mix of ground beef and ground pork. Our grocery store sells 2 lb packages of it for $6-$7. Itβs a lot cheaper than beef and I canβt tell the difference.

Definitely edible. Not what I wanted but theyβre good.
I wanted carne asada tacos with that green sauce the last at our local taco place makes. Nom.
Making white peoples tacos with ground bork and low carb tortillas because thatβs whatβs in the fridge.
I would like real tacos, please.
Yes I do!
Glasses cleaned and much easier to see my monitor. Not sure if the sun is going to cause heartburn, though.
That was when I was a teen, but as an elementary school kid it was definitely when the streetlights came on.
(Also GenX π)
That looks delicious!

I bought new lampshades for the two old lamps that we've had since we bought them at a yard sale when we first got married 20 years ago. I love the lamps, but the old shades were mismatched, the wrong size, and UGLY.
Now I just need 2700k 3-way bulbs, and it'll be perfect.
wait what

I'm tired.
Eesh. Things like that make me glad I don't have a storefront.

Also don't touch my Oxford comma.
When I was in high school, we all went to go see Raiders of the Lost Ark when it was first released.
That scene where Indy is running through the marketplace and that guy confronts him with the sword, everyone is expecting the worst and holding their breath. The entire theater erupted. π
*facepalm*

We live in the stupidest timeline, and I'm running out of reactions that aren't "WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK."
All we have is evaporative cooling here. I could only wish I had A/C.
And definite cooling power! This is the third cooler we've had since we've moved her, and we deliberately bought a Mastercool, and one that was oversized for our house so we could keep it on low most of the time.
I mean, seriously... I buy something at a gas station if all I'm doing is using the restroom. They're providing something to me that I need, for free. It's only fair that I help them stay in business by purchasing something from them.
01.08.2025 16:07 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The only time I could see that it would be *remotely* acceptable is if you're out with friends/family and have special dietary needs and the restaurant literally can't provide for you.
01.08.2025 15:56 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Perhaps it's because the restaurant is paying to provide the space for you to eat? You're taking up table space where they could be seating a paying customer to keep the restaurant in business?
It would be incredibly inconsiderate to the restaurant owners/staff, imho.
Evaporative cooler replacement pads - 8 inch thick cardboard honeycomb material.
Before you say I should replace the pads every year, this is a Mastercool and the 8" thick pads should last *at least* 2-3 years.
Not this year. $100 that I didn't need to spend today. At least they had them in stock!
I'll have to take a picture when we get the old pads out. Tomorrow. Gah.
