Curious what you mean by 'well established' re: disinhibition initiating SW. There's no data on that. Very few INTs were shown to have decreased activity at SW onset(maybe 2 ever, spike-resolved). Not during SW, at initiation. Also, CA3-projecting cholinergic INTs aren’t active before or in SW

We used deep 2p imaging to probe different segments of area CA3 during spatial behaviors and used computational models to link our findings to the underlying recurrent circuitry in those subregions.
