I don’t think the law applies to this regime. They don’t give a fuck if it’s illegal or not. The GOP has convinced their base that there are war zones in the US. They believe they should do whatever is necessary to save the country, even break the law. Although they are told it isn’t illegal.

I thought that at first and even commented something similar but then I saw this side by side comparison and they look like the same person. The difference in his voice can be attributed to the guy trying to fake an accent in the cartel interview.
