While I would absolutely love more episodes I think that the pacing and vibes of SNW lines up more with TNG/DS9/VOY era than other new installments of the franchise with short seasons. Turns out characters can grow and breathe when the fate of the galaxy/Federation doesn't hinge on every episode!

reading Knausgaard's Autumn and when he talks about biology, it's like listening to a really annoying close male relative speaks authoritatively about a thing, using a ton of absolutisms, & is wrong, except I really like hearing his opinions about things and the way he views the world.

To clarify on the "nonbinary beer" thing - nothing wrong with it per se, but it was released shortly after they were accuseds of being transphobic & generally offensive in ads. A reactionary "would a transphobe make a beer with hops that *had a sex change*???" type thing iirc

Whoa whoa whoa BrewDog is emphatically *not* a good brewery - they treat employees like trash (eg dropped a commitment to pay a living wage to new hires), run dumb PR stunts (including an insulting "nonbinary beer"), founder has been accused of being a predator, & run a toxic workplace.
