Hold on a minute
Can’t the blood that has been drawn
Just go back in?

Metal in the soul
Creative is the magnet
That gets the lead out

I wrote a book that does this. There wasn’t a reason for it, it’s just how the story progressed

Every second
From adult eyes
Knowledge and burden
Melting over a heart
Waiting for the dream
In the hopes
It will return
And yet still
I dare not ask:
What is in spore?
It is not the pen that writes.
It is not the sword that cuts, the eyes that see, the feet that walk, the hands that catch, the blood that bleeds.
Nothing is done which one does not do.

The kind of look an 1890s undertaker gets when no one dies in the gunfight

big poetry, the
“I wonder” poetry’s
about—with
me, near that I’d
one day find.
Things to add to your To Do List when you don't want to do anything on your To Do List:
- craft necklaces of cursed bones
- learn the ancient language of owls
- give a mysterious bowl of moss to your secret crush
- build a wizard tower out of books and hide inside for 1,000 years
The mirror seldom looks forward.
It can only look back. To the mirror, this world we live in is backwards.
It doesn’t understand.
And yet, it’s never seen alone.

Teaching satire in 2024 is a trip.

Another cool thing to include is an environmental object to counter them- like a wide stone along the ground the enemy can't dig through but the heroes can stand on- at the cost of being vulnerable to ranged or area attacks.
Guys I cannot stress this enough:
The second syllable in each foot of iambic pentameter.
I'll always rec my own first!
Outside of that, I just finished the Mistborn trilogy and waited way too long to read it.
Okay, so it isn’t just me!
12.11.2024 16:14 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I have to recommend my own (a.co/d/bFlyYjh) but outside of that I would really recommend the Mistborn trilogy if you haven’t read it- it’s the last thing I’ve read and it goes down easy.
