When I saw the video, I thought, “I wonder how many joke marriages are being arranged in the comments” and “maybe I should have had kids” and after the comments I thought “I wonder if this kid will steer around self medication” and “maybe we shouldn’t just wait for an asteroid.”

No way. Those prayers stopped being under his control upon “amen.” If he feels a fraudulent prayer went out, he can pray to give the shooters extra stuff (bikes, money, more people to shoot) but he cannot take prayers back from the people he had murdered, fair is fair

It’s interesting that the thing my mother bird version got right is the transformation..I assume the guy is singing ey yi yi yi as a human…I mean it’s not astounding that I picked that up but what’s interesting is that it isn’t astounding, due to how clearly music can communicate outside semantics

Thank you! The story in my head was about a mother bird that lost her egg and then found an orphan cuckoo bird so she changed her song and they lived happily ever after. I never looked it up because it seemed pretty obvious from the notes that the real story was going to be heartbreaking ha
