UK ban on Palestine Action unlawful, high court judges rule Protest groupโ€™s co-founder wins legal challenge against decision to proscribe it under anti-terrorism laws

Good news. The use of the anti-terrorism legislation was plainly incorrect and a gross abuse of the vitally important freedom to protest. A dangerous step towards an autocratic state.

Chris Wormald forced out by Starmer as cabinet secretary Wormald steps down โ€˜by mutual consentโ€™ after a year in post with Antonia Romeo expected to succeed him

Wormald vetted Mandelson. Though you won't find that in the Guardian's article. Thus he had to go. A clear out is needed.

Ratcliffe is, quite obviously, factually, morally & intellectually wrong about immigration. But his racist comments will be 'both-sided' everywhere because people who simply don't like seeing non-white faces aren't ashamed to say so anymore.

UK being โ€˜colonised by immigrantsโ€™, says Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe Britainโ€™s seventh-richest man, who vocally backed Brexit then moved to Monaco, also hits out at people on benefits

Office for National Statistics indicate this claim is incorrect. The ONS estimated that the population of the UK was 67 million in 2020.

Guardian may as well be The Times on this story (which has been running ludicrous speculative anti Starmer/Labour stories all week). "Allies" indeed might be anyone wanting to destabilize the Labour Government. Guardian shows no porfessional shame about this piece of tabloid tripe. Appalling.

The London Economic: The economic cost of Brexit has just been laid bare - and it's devastating. 8 February.

By 2025, Brexit has been estimated to have reduced UK GDP by 6% to 8%, UK business investment is 18% lower than that of comparable countries, and UK employment and labour productivity are on average, 4% lower than other similar countries. Repairing our relationship with Europe must be a priority.

There is a concerted attempt now by Labour's enemies, Tories, Reform, hostile media, a few far Left M.P.s, US Govt Far Right actors, to press home the attack on the Government. Overall aim to weaken the UK Govt, create a Reform opportunity, prevent progress for social justice and the poor.

I heard Jess Phillips speak about her work on dealing with violence against women and girls. Throughout, she explained how supportive the PM is of this work. I think Nesrine may be using this very unpleasant situation to support agendas of her own, using victims in the same way.

Labour needs to steady the Government now McSweeney has gone. Factional fights help the Tories and Reform. The Labour Party must be a broad church. Starmer nees to find the right message and policies. Tories and Reform want to damage Labour in case it is succeeding.

" debased and subverted" I think this sort of reaction is foolish and inaccurate. Yes, policy mistakes disappointed Labour Supporters, but it would be foolhardy to play into the hands of the Tories and Reform by faction fighting and leadership challenges. Being pure never helped the poor.
