Unfortunately, since @everytown.bsky.social has decided to be in bed with Mike Bloomberg, I can no longer support them. Bloomberg worked to elect Andrew Cuomo, a known sexual predator who used his power to harass multiple women. I've ended my donations, and will no longer work with Everytown.

But your argument was that being mad about golf courses was a waste of time. Golf courses consume 10% of the water in places like AZ, CA and NV. If that 10% were put back in the water table, it would slow the loss of wildlife and natural resources. You can be angry about two things at once.

Golf courses are incredibly bad for the environment. They require massive water consumption, destroy biodiversity, and add significant amounts of pesticides and fertilizers to the water table. And grass doesn't offset the carbon footprint of maintaining the course.

I think this sentiment is easier when you're running for the House vs the White House. She's running in a district that is comfortably blue, and she really just needs to win the primary to win the seat. She doesn't need to convince rural voters, just the 69% that voted dem last election.
