Equating the SAF with the RSF is downplaying war crimes, because, again, one is currently committing a genocide, and one isn't. You normalize the violence against Sudanese by equating their murderers with, as of right now, in this moment, the only intervening force in said genocide.

Again, we did this already with Hamas. At some point the threat of genocide outweighs the moral certainty that everyone in that part of the world is either a violent criminal deserving of their fate or hapless victim of those with real agency.
