Thatβs cool! Is it possible that your repo is private? The link doesn't work for me π

Itβs out! Using cryo-ET in Dicty cells, we take a fresh in situ look at vaults. Surprisingly, we uncover vaults associated with ER and NE membranes, and find that many vaults enclose ribosomes in defined orientations, opening new avenues to their cellular function! www.biorxiv.org/lookup/conte...

Did I just see a picture of a phage hijacking its host within the host of that host?!?!? Coolest thing ever.

I'm still irrationally attached to Relion's GUI (old habits die hard?), but I'm having a great time running model refinement/validation with Doppio!

Doppio is a great tool (more of a toolbelt actually) to go all the way from micrographs to deposition!! (and the more people using it, the greater it gets)

Labβs first paper is out!! We show the first structures of #Asgard #chromatin by #cryo-EM π§¬βοΈ
Asgard histones form closed and open hypernucleosomes. Closed are conserved across #Archaea, while open resemble eukaryotic H3βH4 octasomes and are Asgard-specific. More here: www.cell.com/molecular-ce...

Mature #HIV-1 contains >2000 copies of βspacer peptide 2β, but we didnβt know why. We now see that SP2 binds the matrix protein and triggers the change into its mature arrangement. Summary video from @margotriggi.bsky.social
