It's a great film, but treat it as a standalone, ignoring the first two films. Well first film, as it's better to live in a world where Exorcist II was never made

Just heard that Tony Harrison has died. I was introduced to his poetry by my A-level English teacher, Mr Tonkin, and have read him off and on in the intervening 20-odd years. Sad news.

So I watched The Godfather: Coda (finally) and I have thoughts!

1. Sofia Coppola's performance is indeed dreadful
2. Shalia Tire by contrast keeps the film together
3. Please explain how you can stab someone with a pair of spectacles
4. Imagine if Nic Cage played Vincent 🙃
