Wonders 10.5-mile Dartmoor walk with Exeter Ramblers starting at Cold East Cross with its traditionally chilly winds. Lovely sunshine to light up the moor across Pil Tor, Top Tor, Bonehill Rocks, Chinkwell Tor, Honeybag Tor, Natsworthy, Jay’s Grave and Hound Tor. @ramblersgb.bsky.social

A quintessentially Devon walk. A green and pleasant 11.5-mile circular from Cheriton Bishop with Exeter Ramblers along green paths and lanes to join the Two Moors Way to Drewsteignton and return. @ramblersgb.bsky.social

Blissful 7-mile Exeter Ramblers Sidmouth walk with bluebells and wonderful literary moments. We were treated to Elizabeth Barrett Browning readings from her time here and stories about the cricketing prowess of Arthur Conan Doyle, GM Barrie, PG Wodehouse and AA Milne. @ramblersgb.bsky.social

Back to Brixham to lead our coast path walk for Exeter Ramblers taking in Berry Head, St Mary’s Bay, Sharkham Point and Man Sands. A beautiful day, bright if a little breezy and bracing at times. @ramblersgb.bsky.social @visitdevon.bsky.social

Sunshine and climbs on a beautifully scenic 9-mile Exeter Ramblers walk on Dartmoor from Hound Tor. We passed through the medieval village before reaching Smallacombe Rocks, Black Hill, skirting Becky Falls and on to Manaton, giving a nod to Bowerman’s Nose on the way home. @ramblersgb.bsky.social

Another lovely visit to @nationaltrust.bsky.social Greenway. No mystery why Agatha Christie chose this heavenly spot for her holiday home. @visitdevon.bsky.social

Back to Brixham to recce the 8-mile walk we led for Exeter Ramblers last year that we are putting back on the programme shortly. Just checking everything is where we left it. I can confirm the coast path has not moved. @ramblersgb.bsky.social @nationaltrust.bsky.social

Lovely 9.5-mile walk with Exeter Ramblers on a rather fresh and gloomy day. We followed Bickleigh Vale upstream along the banks of the River Plym to Shaugh Prior and returning along the old South Devon & Tavistock Railway high above the valley. @ramblersgb.bsky.social @nationaltrust.bsky.social

A wonderful 8-mile walk out of Moretonhampstead with Exeter Ramblers. Taking in the medieval manors of Moreton and Dockham and skirting Butterdon Down to Fingle Woods and up to Wooston Hillfort and learning about the inspirational Lumberjills. Some lovely sunshine but fresh at times too. @ramblersgb

A wonderful 9.5-mile
Dartmoor walk with Exeter Ramblers. Some lovely sunshine but also some cold winds. From Cold East Cross to Rippon and Haytor, Houndtor, Bonehill Rocks, Top Tor and Pil Tor. Pleasantly weary. Always glad we walked, bliss 😊 @ramblersgb.bsky.social

Gorgeous 9.5-mile walk with Exeter Ramblers. Starting from Holne, heading towards Venford Reservoir to Scorriton, Mill Leat and Burchetts Woods returning via Hembury Woods. Weather was fresh but beautifully bright. @ramblersgb.bsky.social @nationaltrust.bsky.social
