Which I only bring up because everyone involved in this AI thing is a science fiction fan, but not one who understands what they read.

The ribs are each made from 3 layers of felt stacked and then wrapped in stretch velvet. Secured mostly with hot glue and about to be stitched onto a black felt backing.

The Democrats ran, among other things, on democracy being under threat in the 2024 election and they were clearly right. They should act like they were right, not that they were wrong because they lost at one particular moment in time. Trump considers them an internal enemy, not a minority party

I think this nails it. If you've ever worked for a Business Idiot, you know that the overlap between indifference to and contempt for good quality work is significant. They really don't care, and they don't understand why anyone else would either.

This! I certainly experience nostalgia, I was born in 84' and I feel very lucky to have experienced childhood and highschool without social media. BUT I'm very aware that everything wasn't great for everyone during times that for me were good because I was a child with relative stability.
