Was thinking exactly this when I read about this morning. In their hurry to pull the ladder up, the 'gay not queer' types have enabled this but I just know they're going to blame us for 'kicking up a fuss' and not keeping quiet.

These rules don't apply within the Oval Office, Air Force One, the White House Press Briefing room or basically anywhere Trump and Vance happen to be at the time (if it's being said by them, rather than to them).

You're doing exactly what the right does, creating fear and division so you can cling to power. You don't have to pander to bigots to help the sick, disabled and those on low incomes.

It happens to them all unfortunately. I can think of very few MPs who've been in it more than a year who doesn't appear to be courting votes to get re-elected over doing their actual job. Their priorities should be honesty, decency and service over polling figures.

That'd be such a dumb move even for him. It'd also show how much of a narcissist he's become if he did that as it'd all be about him and not the party, or the country.
