Had an unexpected cry this morning as I dropped my toddler at preschool. We passed by the local high school & many of them were out protesting ICE today. I felt really proud of them but also my heart breaks that they have to spend these special finite years of their lives dealing with this shit

As a “weightlifting person” or whatever, it gets very frustrating how like 90% of available protein sources are essentially poison. So hitting your protein quota becomes a juggling game of micro dosing 6 different kinds of poison

Never would I have been able to guess that a Switchfoot song would end up being the most prescient piece of music from my childhood. But observing the world around us as we millennials enter our 40s it very much literally feels like “we were meant to live for so much more but we lost ourselves…”

Idea: Savory French Toast

Instead of adding like sugar, cinnamon, & vanilla to the egg mixture do something like salt, pepper, & paprika. Dip your bread in & fry it up like normal. Top with some Parmesan, maybe a little avocado
