Dropping the security check and bag scanning would speed things up a lot. It's not legally required, only to have the option to scan certain bags, so it seems to be something Eurostar inflicts on us for show.

I'm often delayed on DB trains, and calculate it into my timing expectations, but in practice it doesn't really matter too much as there are so many alternative trains and routes. On the other hand, every transport mode seems stretched nowadays, try driving long distances without a delay in Germany.

Ik vond het spoormuseum in Bergün, 1 halte verderop, erg leuk. Had geen idee dat de bouw, route en zelfs brugarchitectuur van de Albula en Bernina lijnen zo sterk met opkomend toerisme verbonden was.
