I continue to be surprised that there isn't more pushback from game makers of all tiers, AAA to Indie, to major platforms trying to put them all out of business by injecting AI slop creation tools in to mine free labor from children. The endgame of all these platforms is no discrete games for sale.

Oh god we used a slack-like tool for a while where the search bar was *only* an ai chatbot and that thing was a black hole of hallucinated information, I couldn't find things from a day earlier. Absolutely maddening

It's probably because a trailer is so far outside the wheelhouse of most first time solo devs that the moment they start going down the rabbit hole it's almost overwhelming and time isn't on their side... I know I wasn't expecting to have to build a whole custom gamepad camera rig for it
